The family of stainless steels is large and varied, as there are
more than 100 registered types of stainless steel. Each of these
were originally designated for some specific use. From these many
types, a certain few standard stainless-types have been developed
and perfected and are now in general use by both industry and
government. These are the types we stock.
Stainless steel strips, like the many carbon steel strips, may be
procured in either the Heat-Treatable, Non-Heat-Treatable, or
Pre-Hardened types. We stock all three.
